Lead Designer

Lycopodium Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Designer to join our growing Drafting team in Mississauga, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, cost-effective, detailed 3D designs and general arrangement drawings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement design solutions that meet industry standards and Lycopodium's CAD procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior designers to ensure they meet project deliverables and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve design processes and solutions.
- Ensure design drawings are accurate, complete, and meet project specifications.
- Proficiency in Bentley 3D MicroStation software and experience with OBD.
- Approved diploma qualification in Engineering Design Drafting or directly related industry experience of 15 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure design solutions meet project requirements.
