Job Title: Lead Brand Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Brand Designer to join our team at World Vision Canada. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our brand platform, ensuring consistency and alignment across all marketing-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the brand strategy, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and user needs.
  • Lead the end-to-end design process, including creative direction, conceptual art development, mood boards, and brand narratives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design decisions are considered within the greater context across products and platforms.
  • Communicate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and feedback flow.
  • Mentor and support designers within the Brand & Marketing team and across other business units, fostering a culture of design excellence.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of industry experience in leading brand and marketing design projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in multiple design disciplines.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate designers.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Mastery of creative and art direction, typography, color theory, and composition, with proficiency in industry design and collaboration tools.
