Job Title: Network Systems Technician
MobileComm Professionals, Inc is seeking a skilled Network Systems Technician to support and monitor the government's P25 radiocommunication network. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the availability of voice and data telecommunications networks, analyzing and diagnosing faults, and creating and completing trouble tickets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in maintaining the availability of voice and data telecommunications networks
- Analyze and diagnose faults relating to complex systems using remote monitoring instruments
- Create, monitor progress and complete trouble tickets
- Distribute the resources necessary to maintain network availability
- Communicate frequently with the client, users, subcontractors and colleagues
- Identify, analyze and make recommendations for improvements related to recurring problems
- Manage the configuration of user devices according to requirements
- Produce reports inherent to network management
Requirements:
- DEC in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Skills in network computing and IP technology
- Knowledge of types of communications networks and its principles
- Ability to transfer acquired knowledge to colleagues
Assets for this position:
- Experience in configuring IT and IP network equipment
- Experience in maintaining radiocommunication network equipment
- Bilingualism (French, English). The work is mainly done in French
- Excellent attendance at work, great availability during events or disasters
- Knowledge of the Microsoft series
- Autonomous, responsible
