IT Network and Information Systems Technician (Level 3)

NuChem Sciences, a Sygnature Discovery entity, is in search of a Technician specializing in IT Network and Information Systems (Level 3) to enhance their growing workforce. NuChem provides comprehensive services for initial drug discovery initiatives across various domains including Medicinal Chemistry, ADME/PK, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, and in vivo Pharmacology.

Role Overview

The Technician will take charge of the management of network frameworks, servers, and storage solutions across diverse settings. Responsibilities include supervising switches, firewalls, access points, VMWare, Azure, and AWS Resource Groups. The role also encompasses managing user roles in AD 365, Azure, and AWS, resolving technical issues, and ensuring optimal application performance. Furthermore, the Technician will support scientific application evaluations, configure API functionalities, and uphold data backups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical assistance for business growth and strategic projects.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for infrastructure and server/storage challenges.
  • Oversee network infrastructure and security measures.
  • Configure and monitor server and storage systems.
  • Manage telephony operations and cloud connectivity solutions.
  • Develop and execute Azure and AWS resources.
  • Maintain Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Group Policies.
  • Troubleshoot system-related issues and ensure data integrity.
  • Implement API functionalities for system integrations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in server management and Azure/AWS platforms.
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in both French and English.
  • Experience in laboratory instrument repair and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with HPLC technology.
