About the Role

NuChem Sciences, a Sygnature Discovery business, is seeking a skilled IT Network and Information Systems Technician to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for managing the physical and virtual network infrastructure, ensuring cross-site consistency across on-premise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage servers, storage, and network infrastructure, including switches, access points, and firewalls.
  • Oversee groups and roles in AD 365, Azure, and AWS, ensuring secure and efficient access control.
  • Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and patching of servers and network infrastructure.
  • Configure API functionality for integrations and ensure seamless interplay.
  • Manage storage operations for all VMs and on-premises servers, ensuring data integrity, backup, security, and efficient access.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of strategies and tools related to computer equipment maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of servers and associated services, including AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO, IIS, and WSUS.
  • Working knowledge of Azure and AWS.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Team spirit, good communication skills, and excellent command of English and French.
