NuChem Sciences, a Sygnature Discovery company, is seeking an IT Network and Information Systems Technician (Level 3) to join their growing team. NuChem offers integrated services for early drug discovery projects in the areas of Medicinal Chemistry, ADME/PK, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, and in vivo Pharmacology.

The Role:

This role involves managing the network infrastructure, servers, and storage across various environments. This includes overseeing switches, firewalls, access points, VMWare, Azure, and AWS Resource Groups. The Technician will also handle user roles in AD 365, Azure, and AWS, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application functionality. Additionally, the Technician will assist with scientific application testing, configure API functionality, and maintain backups.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for business development and strategic initiatives.
  • Act as an escalation point for infrastructure and server/storage issues.
  • Manage network infrastructure and security.
  • Configure and monitor servers and storage.
  • Oversee telephony operations and cloud connectivity.
  • Develop and implement Azure and AWS resources.
  • Maintain Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Group Policies.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure data integrity.
  • Implement API functionality for integrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in server management and Azure/AWS.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Experience in lab instrument repair and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of HPLC.
