About the Role

MNG Builders Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Cost Management
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
    • Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Project Coordination
    • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate estimates and project timelines
    • Provide cost feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and present detailed cost reports to management and clients
    • Monitor and analyze project costs to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced estimating environment with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
