About the Role

Pagnotta Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and information for estimating purposes.
  • Analyze and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Prepare and present detailed estimates to clients and stakeholders, including labour and material costs, timelines, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and project management, to ensure estimates are aligned with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in estimating or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
