We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Consultant to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our construction cost planning team, you will play a critical role in providing expert cost estimating services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements and delivering tailored cost estimating solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates at various stages of projects, from conceptual design to pre-tender stage.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to prepare proposals and reports, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree or diploma in Architecture, Construction, or Civil Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in estimating/quantity surveying, with a senior-level understanding of construction estimates, contracting, procurement, and scheduling.
- Technical skills: Proficient in Sharepoint, MS Office, and Project, with hands-on experience in CostX.
- Communication and relationship-building skills: Ability to build and foster relationships with internal and client stakeholders, gathering information and eliciting cooperation.
