Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2649476 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our restaurant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead and direct a team of food service staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of our food service staff.
  • Manage Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Control Inventory and Costs: Monitor and control inventory levels and costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The successful candidate must be physically demanding and able to work in a team environment.
