Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and strategic International Recruitment Assistant Manager to spearhead our initiatives aimed at increasing international student enrollment. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing recruitment strategies tailored to specific regional markets to surpass enrollment objectives. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Recruitment:

  • Identify and focus on essential markets within designated regions through data-driven analysis
  • Design and execute marketing initiatives while establishing a network of regional representatives
  • Organize recruitment events to optimize student application rates

Enrollment Strategy and Oversight:

  • Oversee program capacity allocation for international students
  • Adjust recruitment strategies based on market insights
  • Create plans that align with DC's Internationalization and Global Engagement Framework

Operational and Administrative Leadership:

  • Evaluate recruitment data to inform strategic choices
  • Execute recruitment strategies in accordance with institutional policies
  • Engage in departmental strategic planning efforts

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Represent DC at international conferences and forums
  • Work with global partners to broaden market outreach

International Admissions Facilitation:

  • Conduct admissions information sessions
  • Interact with prospective students and representatives
  • Ensure a smooth recruitment process for all candidates

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-year degree/diploma in a relevant field
  • 5 years of experience in international student recruitment
  • Familiarity with recruitment strategies and planning
  • Knowledge of regulations governing international students
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in a language other than English is advantageous
  • Experience in project and team management

Compensation:

Band 9: $74,175 - $92,720
