Job Summary

Church's Chicken McCowan Road is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, staff productivity, and customer feedback.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of orders.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
  • Team Management
    • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical and Working Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Team player.
    • Initiative.
Working Conditions
  • Public transportation is available.
Work Environment
  • 35 hours per week.
