About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist to join our team at COMPONENT ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS INC. As a BIM Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our building information modeling processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure that designs meet our company's standards.
  • Design and Develop Sketches: Develop and prepare design sketches to visualize and communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Conduct Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and ensure that they meet our company's quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements and ensure that designs meet their needs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), and Autodesk REVIT.
  • Specialization: 3D Modeling, Construction, Architecture, and Buildings and Structures.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own vehicle required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and team player.
