Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the IMP Group as a Contract Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including contract drafting, negotiation, review, approval, execution, and renewal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, legal and regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough review and analysis of contract terms and conditions.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance.
  • Work with internal departments and management to ensure adherence to contractual terms.
  • Serve as the focal point for formal communications between the IMP Group and external customers.
  • Negotiate new and renewal contracts and contract changes.
  • Work with internal Legal Counsel in the development and drafting of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Attend contract progress review meetings.
  • Prepare financial information to support contractual activities.
  • Support financial forecasting for contract expenditures.
  • Support management of subcontractor relationships.
  • Supervise a team of contract administrators.
  • Maintain a contractual document repository.
  • Engage in capture and bid management efforts.
  • Assist with company compliance to export control regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' industry experience with contract management emphasis.
  • Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration.
  • Preference will be given to those having experience in government contracts analysis and billing.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Above-average interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsibility, close attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to occupational health, safety, and environment policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Canadian Government Security Clearances.
