Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned Contract Manager to join the IMP Group team. As a key member of our Contracts and Procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement contract management strategies to ensure compliance with contractual terms, legal and regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Manage a portfolio of contracts, including contract drafting, negotiation, review, approval, execution, and renewal.
  • Conduct thorough review and analysis of contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, and work with internal departments and management to ensure adherence to contractual terms.
  • Serve as the focal point for formal communications between the IMP Group and external customers.
  • Negotiate new and renewal contracts and contract changes, and work with internal Legal Counsel to develop and draft contractual terms and conditions.
  • Attend internal and external contract progress review meetings, and provide periodic internal and external reporting of contractual performance and issues.
  • Prepare financial information to support contractual activities, and support financial forecasting for contract expenditures.
  • Manage first-tier subcontractor relationships, and supervise a team of Contract Administrators.
  • Maintain a contractual document repository, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all relevant stakeholders.
  • Engage in and support capture and bid management efforts, and assist with company compliance to Export Control, ITAR, and Controlled Goods Regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' industry experience with Contract Management emphasis.
  • Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration.
  • Preference will be given to those having experience in government contracts analysis and billing.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Above average interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsibility, close attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities in your area.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Canadian Government Security Clearances.
