Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to support our program managers in the planning and execution of projects. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
  • Communicate with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks.
  • Organize project meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
  • Assist in resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and financial management.
  • Familiarity with risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or a related role.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus, but not required.
What We Offer:

$43-49/hr commensurate with experience + 4% vacation pay.

Mississauga, Milton, Brampton ON, 4 days' onsite, one remote working day.
