Insurance Account Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Account Representative to join our team at John Brown - Desjardins Insurance Agent.
About the RoleAs an Insurance Account Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, assisting them with their insurance needs, and identifying opportunities to sell our products and services. You will work closely with our agents to meet sales goals and develop leads through telephone and in-person interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist clients with changes, cancellations, and updates to their insurance contracts, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, creating a climate of trust and confidence in our products and services.
- Identify and seize sales opportunities, soliciting and offering our products and services to clients.
- Work with agents to meet sales goals, developing leads and closing sales.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
- University degree or college diploma.
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resourcefully.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to clients over the phone and in person.
- OTL or RIBO license, with the ability to obtain LLQP (LIFE) within 6 months of hire.
We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients, and we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
