Job Summary

Destinationone Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join their corporate office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support for payroll processing, providing frontline support to employees, managing full-cycle recruitment, and maintaining and updating the HRIS system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Verify employee time cards and create reports for bi-weekly payroll for Canada and the US.
  • Frontline Support: Provide support to employees daily on company policies, employee relations, and annual programs.
  • Recruitment: Manage full-cycle recruitment, including posting job ads, screening candidates, conducting interviews and reference checks, and extending offers for all open positions in Canada & the US.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain and update the HRIS system, as well as physical files on a regular basis.
  • File and Organize: File and organize HR-related documentation.
  • Engagement and Retention: Assist in the administering and monitoring of engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Uniform Management: Manage employee uniforms with a service provider, including ordering new uniforms and solving shortage issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with appropriate legislation and provincial employment requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of work experience in a Human Resources function.
  • Skills: Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly detail-oriented, patience and good listening skills, ability to solve problems individually, ability to work well with others, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Language: Multilingual (English and Punjabi/Hindi) an asset.
