Our client, a leading provider of premium financing solutions in the insurance industry, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their growing Canadian team. Role
Business Development Manager - Quebec (Remote)
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities and managing existing relationships within the Quebec City region. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the surrounding area and available for in-person client meetings and industry events.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance brokerages and agencies in the territory.
- Conduct needs analyses to identify opportunities for growth and provide tailored solutions.
- Communicate product and technology offerings to clients and drive adoption.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account servicing.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to overall business growth.
Qualifications
- 2–10 years of outside sales experience, ideally within financial services, insurance, or a related industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to build relationships and establish trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce an asset).
- Fluency in French and English (written and verbal) is required.
