Being a Business Development Manager, Insurance with National Bank Insurance means developing strategies and coaching the sales force in terms of loan insurance and other protection services.
Your ability to quickly build trust, influence and collaboration will set you apart.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Insurance Coach.

** Position based in the greater Quebec City or Montreal area. The territory to be served will be the greater Quebec City area, Saguenay Lac St Jean, Bas St Laurent-Gaspésie. The incumbent must be able to travel in these regions.

**Your main challenges**:

- Act as a sales coach to the stakeholders in your regions
- Establish and maintain effective communications with the various stakeholders involved in the sector's activities
- Identify business opportunities that may emerge from the market and make recommendations on actions to be taken
- Contribute to the definition of business orientations and services under your responsibility
- Work in partnership with the various sectors of the Bank and in close collaboration with the financial security advisors of the National Bank Insurance Firm in order to collaborate on the development of new sales strategies or to create a sales pitch that meets the needs
- Establish a privileged relationship with partners and ensure their satisfaction by offering them a personalized service

**More specifically, you will**:

- Develop strategies to enable the branch network teams (Branch Manager, Customer Service Manager and Bank Advisors) to sell loan insurance and protection solutions (APCC/Sécurzione)
- Act as a sales coach to the stakeholders in your regions
- Deliver training activities related to loan insurance
- Ensure that sales objectives are met in the regions under your responsibility
- Be the main point of contact and work closely with the Regional Vice Presidents of your regions
- Be able to work and have a close collaboration with your partner.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree related to the industry and five years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the industry and three years of relevant experience OR University Certificate/PUB undergraduate degree and seven years of relevant experience
- Experience in business development
- Experience in facilitating training and/or coaching
- Knowledge of loan insurance products is an asset
- Excellent time and priority management skills
- Results oriented
- Good influencing skills
