We are seeking a Sales Leader to drive business growth and position Haney Builders as the go-to supplier for the lower mainland.

Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will oversee both contractor and retail store sales, playing a pivotal role in transforming the business. This individual will be tasked with creating strategies to penetrate new markets and grow our existing customer base. We need someone with a proven track record of building relationships, delivering results, and opening up new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Growth:

- Actively seek out new business opportunities and relationships to expand market share.

- Pursue opportunities in multifamily, residential, and commercial markets.

- Evaluate and optimize the store's product selection to meet market demands.

2. Relationship Management:

- Build strong, trust-based relationships with key contractors, builders, and community stakeholders.

- Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery for new accounts.

3. Sales Leadership:

- Oversee and manage the contractor sales and retail store sales teams.

- Drive accountability across the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

- Develop and execute strategies to increase foot traffic and customer engagement.

4. Strategic Planning:

- Analyze current sales practices and implement changes to foster a more hunter-oriented culture.

- Drive the team to leverage Haney Builders' operational capacity to maximize sales.

- Develop metrics and reporting to track and showcase growth initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

- Proven track record in sales leadership in the building supplies or construction industry.
- Strong network of relationships in the lower mainland, with a focus on contractors and builders.
- Skilled in identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.
- Relationship-driven approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a hunter mindset.

Compensation:

- Base salary: Commensurate with experience and book of business.
- Competitive commission structure based on sales performance and margin dollars.
- Opportunity to earn $120,000+ on target earnings annually with strong performance.
