**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
As a vital member of our sales team, the Sales Manager will be responsible for providing overall branch management and leadership to the sales team. This position will play a pivotal role in creating and establishing high standards of sales execution and developing a plan and strategy to drive revenue growth within the area of oversight.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Actively manage the functions of all sales within the assigned region and branch
- Develop territory lines for Account Managers within the assigned region
- Implement and monitor business improve strategies, policies, and procedures
- Establish annual budgets for effective use of resources and optimize performance and growth
- Work with Human Resources to recruit, manage, and develop sales staff
- Ensure all sales employees are properly trained
- Ensure health and safety paperwork and policies are adhered to and advocate a culture of safety
- Attend and participate in regional branch sales meetings
- Establish and maintain relationships with municipalities, ministries, and other key stakeholders
- Manage customer and client relationships and resolve service-related issues
- Develop extensive product knowledge
- Attend industry tradeshows and other events
- Conduct annual performance reviews of sales operations personnel

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 5+ years of sales or business development experience in the construction industry
- 3+ years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience
- Proven track record as a coach, mentor and developer of talent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and project/change management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid provincial drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Detail-oriented individual with a passion for operational excellence

**HOURS OF WORK**:
Daily schedule may vary depending upon sales needs and may include tradeshows, networking events, etc. that occur outside regular business hours. General office hours would be 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
