ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:
The Execution Support will provide comprehensive on-site support to the Supervisor, ensuring the smooth execution of scheduled work and addressing any issues that arise. This position will ensure a smooth transition from planning to scheduling, work execution, providing clarity and control over individual jobs with the effective use of EAM systems to achieve operational excellence.

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitor and update work orders that are scheduled and assigned during the current work week and provide updates.
2. Facilitate daily team meetings.
3. Provide support, address any issues that arise facilitating solutions to keep work on schedule.
4. Facilitate assignment of daily work activities based on Supervisor's work order prioritization.
5. Support the scheduling and assignment of tasks to technicians or contractors based on priorities and resource availability. Manage execution and reassignment tasks as required.
6. Ensure adherence to work execution management guiding principles.
7. Consult operators & managers to determine the needs of required equipment.
8. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to unionized staff on work execution processes and EAM system usage.
9. Assist Supervisor in maintaining work history, technical and vendor files.
10. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any deviation from the original plan, and ensure that all documentation is complete and up to date.
11. Effectively & efficiently use the EAM system to track all assets and maintenance activities.
12. Assist in scheduling and allocating the appropriate personnel, tools, and equipment required for each job, ensuring optimal use of resources during the current work week.
13. Reschedule/reprioritize work based on emergent needs.
14. Resolve day-to-day execution issues such as resource conflicts, incomplete work orders, or material shortages.
15. Collaborate with employees to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to streamline work execution.
16. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and status updates.
17. Monitor and recommend changes to inventory levels of spare parts and materials, liaising with the supply chain to ensure availability and timely delivery of required items.
18. Assist with material handling to ensure parts are available and delivered to the mechanics.
19. Assist in identification and requisitions of non-inventory parts.
20. Ensure parts utilized are accurately reflected on work orders.
21. Work with divisional leaders to review reports and KPIs and action where necessary to ensure data integrity is maintained.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. College Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
2. Certificate of Qualification in Truck and Coach Technician (310T) is preferred.
3. 1-2 years' experience in asset management maintenance including monitoring and assessing asset related performance and presenting corrective remedies and plans.
4. Experience with asset management software or work order management system like SAP PM, IBM Maximo, or HxGN EAM.
5. Strong background in asset management and knowledge of asset management principles is considered an asset.
6. Understanding of functional business processes for Asset Management solutions is preferred.
7. Experience in work order scheduling and resource allocation is preferred.
8. Awareness of regulatory requirements and safety protocols in maintenance operations.
9. Ability to analyze maintenance data and generate reports for efficiency improvements.
10. Experience monitoring asset performance, and managing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
11. Experience with predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance processes.
12. Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time to repair (MTTR) and mean time between failures (MTBF).
13. Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, team environment.
14. Proficient in Microsoft 365 with advanced Excel skills.
15. Valid G driver's license with ability to travel up to 25%.
16. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate and present results.
17. Excellent coordination & planning skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
18. Self-directed with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
19. Commitment to Health & Safety.
