The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized Clinic Manager to lead operations at their busy healthcare clinic in Hamilton. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure smooth workflows and a positive patient experience
- Manage a large profit and loss (P&L) statement, driving strong financial performance and operational efficiency
- Recruit, train, and coach team members to maintain high standards of performance and service
- Manage staff schedules, timesheets, and related HR functions
- Develop and monitor clinic budgets, track key metrics, and report on performance outcomes
- Supervise billing, invoicing, and administrative processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide leadership and guidance to create a motivated, engaged, and customer-focused team
- Greet and support patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle inquiries professionally
- Support marketing and community engagement initiatives to enhance clinic visibility
- Train staff on internal systems and maintain accurate records and reporting
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinic, healthcare, retail, or office management setting, plus 2 years of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience managing a P&L or overseeing financial performance in an operational setting
- Strong understanding of general business operations and administrative best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software systems
- Friendly, professional, and approachable leadership style with strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule — the clinic operates 7 days a week and into the evenings
