We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator/Administrator to join our Talent Team. The HR (Talent) Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Talent (HR) department, ensuring streamlined processes, and offering administrative assistance. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management while also providing key support to employees regarding HR related inquiries. You will work closely with the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) team to ensure a seamless HR experience for all employees, contributing to a positive work environment.
What You'll Do
- Address employee questions related to HR policies, contracts, and benefits, ensuring a smooth and responsive HR experience.
- Draft, review, and update employment contracts, offer letters, and related documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Support HRBP team in managing the full employee life cycle.
- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives, tracking progress and supporting growth goals.
- Distribute HR communications to all internal employees across the organization.
- Support recruitment requirements using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Facilitate new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Assist in employee recognition and company culture initiatives and/or programs.
- Maintain accuracy in our HRIS (UKG), by updating employee data, records, and auditing reports.
- Regularly manage and keep all Talent files up-to-date.
- Ensure the ongoing upkeep and revision of HR templates and documents.
- Support the Talent team in diverse projects such as conducting research, compiling information, creating documents and reports, and preparing presentations.
What You'll Bring
- Diploma or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years in HR or a related role is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Familiarity with HRIS such as UKG is considered a plus.
- Able to travel to different locations within the Calgary area.
