Driven by rapid expansion, my client is scaling its operations and seeking a Senior Account Executive to accelerate new business growth, expand client relationships, and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new business opportunities, fostering long-term client relationships.
- Own and execute the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.
- Generate self-driven leads to expand the client portfolio.
- Sales Process: Selling to procurement teams, project leads, engineers, VPs, and Directors (typically 3-4 decision-makers per deal).
- Goals: Land 6-8 new customers in year one while also growing existing accounts.
- Quota: $2.5M in revenue.
- Territory: North America (West Coast).
- Clearly communicate and position the company’s value proposition against competitors.
- Maintain organized records of sales activity within the CRM system to track progress and follow-ups.
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
- Stay informed on industry trends to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years account management experience
- Minimum 5 years new business experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, or sustainable solutions sectors.
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles, engaging with multiple decision-makers.
- Experience selling regional and national accounts
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Passion for sustainability, innovation, and driving meaningful change.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Location Requirement
- Preferred Location: Lower Mainland, Canada
- Work Structure: Hybrid/Remote with flexibility
Compensation
- Base Salary: $75,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $175,000
- Commission Structure: Monthly commission with a quarterly bonus
