**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Complete full cycle accounting
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards
- Prepare and review error-free financial reports, income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Invoice clients and input, update, and maintain various accounting data
- Receive/issue payments and reconcile bank deposits and electronic bank transfers
- Analyze data and financial transactions to record journal entries, ensuring accuracy
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and prepare bank and other financial accounts reconciliations
- Prepare, review, and file HST and WSIB returns
- Perform administrative tasks

**Education, Experience & Training**
- Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting) or courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience is required
- Experience working with small/medium businesses in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Experience with construction project accounting is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
