**Terms of Employment**: Full-time, Monday - Friday (8 am -4 pm)
**Salary: Starting $50,000- $55,000 / year**
**Location**: Central Distribution Center. 101 Alexdon Road, North York ON M3J 2B5

In support of our homebuilding operations, Habitat GTA operates a retail home improvement store called Habitat ReStore, which sells donated home furnishings, appliances, and renovation materials, with all proceeds helping us build more homes.

**The Opportunity**
Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area (Habitat GTA) is looking for an outgoing individual to join our Gift-in-Kind Donations Team. If you would love to use your excellent interpersonal, teamwork and multi-tasking skills to help make a difference for working, lower-income families in the Greater Toronto Area, then this is the position for you
**Your I**mpact**
- Represent Habitat for Humanity GTA as a Brand Ambassador by modeling our values and guiding principles.
- Learn, understand and participate in the Health and Safety Program
- Act as a brand ambassador and positively represent Habitat GTA to organizations.
- Clearly articulate Habitat’s mission and values while making a positive business case for donations.
- Assist in meeting the GIK Business Plan budget with primary focus on acquiring ReStore product donations.
- Support the implementation of the Gift-in-Kind Donations program and strategies to secure gift-in-kind donations primarily for ReStore.
- Contribute to identifying and sourcing potential corporate donors and ensuring initial contact procedures are met.
- Focus on building and fostering one on one relationships with donors, being able to clearly communicate the benefit of contributing to Habitat GTA.
- Spend the majority of time on the road or on the phone setting up meetings and connecting with relationships to acquire donations.
- Track corporate donors’ relationships using Raisers Edge or Salesforce software, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete reports weekly, biweekly, and monthly, or as necessary
- Ensure donors experience excellent service and delivery in accordance to Habitat GTA quality standards
- Demonstrate exceptional and considerate service to our stakeholders.
**What you Bring**
- 2-3+ years sales experience or experience acquiring donations
- Strong customer service skills
- Professional demeanor with an ability to build and manage individual and corporate relationships. You build relationships that last
- Experience “knocking on doors” and making cold calls.
- Strategic thinking in terms of identifying donors and great at getting your foot in the door
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire trust and confidence in donors and corporate partners along with a good level of self-awareness.
- Initiative with strong, focused work ethic
- An action-oriented and outgoing approach
- Positive energy
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel within GTA area, as required
- Eager to learn from mentors and the drive to grow within the organization
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Raiser’s Edge Software and/or SalesForce is preferred)
- Experience in building supplies / construction / product procurement
- Valid G Class License and willingness to travel within the GTA
