**About the Role**

We are seeking a Junior Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in a collaborative environment. As a Junior Accounts Administrator, you will assist the department with various administrative and accounting tasks, and provide backup support for reception duties as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support, including organizing and maintaining financial records.
- Assist with routine accounting tasks such as processing invoices, payments, and transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and filing systems.
- Serve as backup for reception duties, including answering and directing phone calls, and greeting visitors.
- Communicate with other departments and external partners to support day-to-day financial activities.
- Handle various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Controller.
- Ensure compliance with company policies in all work performed.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience or education in administration or accounting is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
- Comfortable with handling phone calls and providing reception support.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

**Hours and Work Location**:

- Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
- The role is on-site at our office in Mississauga.
