As Associate Relationship Manager within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at National Bank of Canada, you will help facilitate relationships with various correspondent banks and thus strengthen revenue growth. You offer comprehensive support to the various stakeholders within the bank, especially in terms of operations with our correspondent banks.

This position allows you to have a positive impact on the organization thanks to your rigor, your outstanding customer service and your experience in the field.

Your job:

- Provide administrative assistance to managers banking relations
- Act as the first point of contact and provide customer service to our correspondent banks, answer questions and resolve operational issues
- Assist Directors in promoting banking products, initiating and executing transactions in collaboration with the Payment Operations, Trade Finance, Treasury and Factoring teams
- Monitor business volumes, ongoing risks and allocated credit lines for all banking products
- Manage regulatory updates and agency agreements with correspondent banks
- Generate different reports
- Maintain bank and correspondent records
- Organize meetings with key partners
- Manage the group's inbox, ensuring a quick response and efficient processing of all incoming correspondence
- Handle various administrative requests, including identification mandates and customer experience letters
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and work collaboratively with the Compliance and Monitoring team on issues that need to be addressed
- Participate in periodic credit assessments for country and bank boundaries and assist the Directors in the planning of country strategy and FI accounts

Basic requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of banking experience, preferably in correspondent banking/IFIs, Payments and Export-Import operations and/or corporate banking.
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication, time management, analytical and rigor skills.
