Vendor Relationship Manager

You will manage the relationship between Moneris and Moneris' hardware vendors and middleware partners. You will lead the strategic direction with these external partners and provide the partner's perspective to influence Moneris' product roadmaps (This includes both current vendors and potential vendors). You will oversee daily communication with Moneris' hardware vendors and middleware partners to ensure terminal/hardware purchases take place, repair and warranty obligations are met, technical and product support is provided, and regular business reviews occur.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
- Be the primary contact for hardware and terminal vendors and manage related partner inquiries. Help integrate new hardware/terminal vendors, along with the associated contract negotiations, new product or feature introductions, new fees or changes in fees associated with hardware and terminal vendors solutions to support the Moneris Product Roadmap.
- Be the primary contact for middleware partners, including leading strategic planning and projects between middleware partners and internal Moneris partners, managing risks associated with middleware partners, and other escalation items as they arise.
- Provide regular business updates to Leadership including KPI reporting and overall health of the relationship.
- Maintain a relationship with the hardware/terminal vendor(s) by ensuring daily communication and operations with the assigned hardware/terminal vendor(s) and that the hardware and terminal vendor and their solutions are well represented and understood by the Moneris Operations (MFS) and Product teams.
- Implement process improvements, both internal and external, to enhance hardware and terminal vendor's satisfaction while driving solutions that are repeatable and cost-effective.
- Provide ongoing Relationship Management of assigned hardware and terminal vendor(s) including; business reviews, purchase order monitoring, Product roadmaps reviews and technical support monitoring.
- Lead contract negotiations with hardware and terminal vendor(s) together with input and interactions with all internal stakeholders (Operations, Product, Legal, Finance, Compliance, etc.)
- Monitor service levels and manage escalations promptly.
- Manage /Audit/Business Continuity Management as it relates or directly affect the hardware/terminal vendor or solution.
- Comply with corporate policies established by Moneris including the HR Code of Conduct, Technology Policy and Privacy Policy

Your Moneris Career - What you bring
- 3-5 years of technology industry experience (commercial experience within the role)
- 3-5 years of proven relationship management experience (managed 3rd parties)
- Must have experience in category or vendor management
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, Business, or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows/ MS Office Applications
- Track record in managing complex contract negotiations and 3rd party relations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with business case financial modelling is a PLUS
- Navigate the complexity of the organization and work with others to progressively improve Partner Management
- Innovative, proactive with a commitment and focus on continuous improvement

- MBA is considered an asset
- Previous experience in the payment industry is considered an asset
- Previous experience running RFP's is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Agile practices is considered an asset
