**Hampton Park Optometry is in immediate need of an office administrator with (experience working in either an optometric or health care environment would be considered an asset but not necessary). Centrally located in Ottawa, Ontario, Hampton Park Optometry, a non-dispensing office has been providing care for patients for the last 30 years. The clinic provides optometric care including but not limited to, comprehensive eye examinations, pre and post laser consultation, eye care emergencies, as well as contact lens consultation and distribution. Hampton Park Optometry is extremely well recognized and appreciated in the community. Offering a dynamic work environment, Hampton Park Optometry is a challenging, yet fulfilling opportunity for an eager and energetic professional who wants to further their knowledge and skills.**

**Qualifications and assets**:

- **Superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills,**:

- **Patient Management and intake, including but not limited to wait time management, pre-examination testing, documentation (filing) and OHIP processing;**:

- **aptitude for patient care techniques and instrumentation ( training provided);**:

- **Initiative, discretion and good judgement combined with an empathetic attitude;**:

- **Proven time management skills and ability to multitask;**:

- **Strong oral and written communication in English;**:

- **Experience with Outlook & Gmail, Excel, QuickBooks, Word,**:

- **Attention to detail and problem remediation,**:

- **Experience in an optometric office setting would be an asset.**
