There are multiple positions available and vary in contract duration and part time and full time status. We envision a community of learners dedicated to student su ccess. Eastbrook Elementary is a dynamic and diverse elementary school, serving approximately 465 students in Prekindergarten to Grade 6, from our local communities and families. Grasslands Public Schools, in partnership with the City of Brooks Recreation Services, offer discounts on JBS Canada Centre memberships and passes, for Grasslands employees We regularly plan book studies, social events, guest presenters, and more We have implemented early dismissal, for students, on Fridays, to give more flexibility in schedules, for colleagues to meet, collaborate, and learn within working hours. Job Duties: support students in instruction as well as social and behavioral needs encourage positive interactions between students and staff; work closely and collaboratively with school staff including, but not limited to, classroom teachers and administration; position may include activities such as lifting, transferring, and providing personal care, as necessary; and position may have involvement in student school activities such as swimming or outdoor sports and may require the EA to participate with students.
