the Brooks Composite High School is hiring
The Brooks Composite High School (BCHS) is a high school of approximately 700 students in grades 10-12. We offer a full range of all the academic offerings in addition to a well-respected vocational program that includes Mechanics, Construction, Cosmetology, Foods and Digital Media. We also offer a fine arts program that includes visual arts and performing arts including Music and Drama. In addition, we are pleased to host the district Inclusive Education Program and have a large ELL program that serves the needs of many newcomers to Canada. We are also very proud of the athletic and extracurricular programs at our school. Job Duties:
support students in instruction as well as social and behavioral needs
encourage positive interactions between students and staff;
work closely and collaboratively with school staff including, but not limited to, classroom teachers and administration;
position may include activities such as lifting, transferring, and providing personal care, as necessary; and
position may have involvement in student school activities such as swimming or outdoor sports and may require the EA to participate with students.
