**Role Overview**
- Bookkeeping duties including payables entry, receivables, reconciliation, credit card expenses, and reimbursements.
- Ensure project costs are entered and tracked appropriately, including securing approvals from Project Managers
- Assistance with project reporting for Project Managers including project profitability and time reports
- Assist with HR including preparing onboarding packages for new employees

**Location**

SCG Head office in Headingley, MB, or Regional office in Markham, ON. Open to partial work from home arrangements if requested.

**Salary**

Full time position. $45,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience. Includes benefits package.

**Experience / Skills**
- Understanding of QuickBooks Online or similar financial software is required
- Experience using standard Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook is required
- Certifications in accounting or higher degrees will be considered along with familiarity with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- High attention to detail with an ability to enforce internal reporting schedules is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be advantageous
- Highly organised with time management skills
- Ability to adapt to and improve upon systems.
- Experience in a project/construction finance environment would be an asset
- Experience working with national or international customers and vendors will be considered
- Experience working with diverse and physically distant project teams would be beneficial

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
