**Position Overview**:
The Team Assistant is to champion the vision, mission, and values of CBOQ to our member churches, staff and volunteers. The role focuses on the successful support of the department. The Assistant provides administrative support and coordination of activities, programs and events developed by the team.

**Responsibilities**:
- Live out CBOQ's mission, vision, and values
- Manage team projects and recurring events.
- Team specific responsibilities may include data entry/analysis, digital communications/design, updating web content or support for our member churches
- Manage the collection of accurate data, filling, scanning, and sorting.
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality
- Work with other staff in a cooperative effort to complete tasks of common concern to the whole office, including tasks related to our annual Assembly.
- Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material from machine dictation and handwritten copy
- Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
- Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
- Maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings
- Arrange travel schedules and make reservations
- Compile data, statistics, and other information to support research activities
- Conference organization.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
**Requirements**:
- A mature faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to serve through the church
- Commitment to the mission, faith and core values of CBOQ
- Demonstrated high proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Office 365, and database management.
- Communications/Design: Competency with current communications technology, Microsoft Office, Word Press and the Adobe Creative Suite (Not required but would be an asset); Videography + editing would be an asset.
- Finance: Proficiency in excel, analysis and record keeping
- Keen attention to detail.
