**About the Position**:
The Supervisor, Revenue Accounting oversees a team of Revenue Accountants to ensure all property administration is processed as per the company policy and meets all internal deadlines for reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership**
- Manage, coach and train direct reports on an ongoing basis.
- Manage performance of the team by ensuring effective communication of job expectations; monitoring and reviewing performance; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the Learning & Development department to ensure successful onboarding, training and coaching of new revenue accounting team members

**Revenue Accounting**
- Detailed understanding of various functions in revenue accounting.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of Revenue Accounting team.
- Review and reconcile the Tenant Accounts Receivable, prepayments and security deposits subledgers with General Ledgers.
- Review of monthly Gross Potential Rent (GPR) reports of all properties.
- Monitoring maintenance of resident recurring charge schedules including electronic payments records.
- Oversee the posting of monthly charges.
- Oversees charges and receipts for all commercial properties.
- Oversee the timely posting of receipt batches in Yardi by Revenue Accountants.
- Oversee posting of resident online payments.
- Oversee the monthly processing of Pre-Authorized Debits (PAD’s).
- Oversees other bank deposits (laundry income, cable revenue etc.).
- Review updates to daily bank deposits and ensure timely finalization of Bank Reconciliations.
- Oversee processing of timely resident refunds.
- Assist for information required in the acquisitions and dispositions of properties.
- Ensure compliance with regulations of various provinces and manage trust accounts reconciliations.
- Assist in periodic audit requirements.
- Review, discuss and assist in adjustments for tenants Rental Increase Guidelines (AGI’s)
- Adhoc projects as assigned.

**Job Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Accounting designation or working towards business/accounting qualification
- 5 years’ experience in property/revenue accounting or financial reporting
- 2 years’ experience in a team management role
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Yardi would be an asset

- Self-motivated individual who is proactive, takes initiative, goal and results oriented and work independently without a lot of direction.
- Superior organizational and time management skills in order to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines and meet multiple deadlines.
- Flexible with a “can-do” and “no task is too big or too small” attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy and excellent follow-up skills.
