**The Dean of Students** **supports all students — undergraduate and graduate — in the pursuit of academic and personal success. The Dean of Students collaborates with faculties, offices, and services across all campuses to deliver effective programming and provides leadership on university policies and initiatives.

The Office of the Dean of Students coordinates many services that strive to create diverse and inclusive support in all stages of the student experience, including: academic resources, career and professional development health & wellness services, and community resources.

**Position**

Reporting to the Registration & Administration Team Lead (RATL) in the Academic Success Centre, the Registration Coordinator is responsible for a variety of administrative activities and the provision of registration support for: Accessibility & Accommodation Services, the Director, Accessibility Advisors, Adaptive Technology and Alternate Format Specialists.

**Duties**
- Troubleshoots & documents exam registration processes; including tracking & reporting
- Coordinates communication and promotional campaigns regarding registration deadlines and processes
- Processes and tracks confidential student accessibility-related documents
- Assists with development and logistics of databases and administrative software used for ASC programs
- Acts as a resource person for specialized registration software (ClockWork)

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field required, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a post-secondary administrative setting preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Computer proficiency related to data processing, electronic records, databases, communication, and online learning management systems; intermediate or higher skills with Microsoft Suite and Google Applications
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication & customer service skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, including problem assessment and process mapping skills with attention to details and deadlines
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple (often competing) tasks/deadlines in a high volume and fast-paced environment while maintaining superior accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Ability to interact knowledgeably, comfortably, positively and respectfully with diverse individuals with a broad range of credentials, abilities, and literacy/language levels
- Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and to University regulations

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Familiarity and/or experience with specialized software or databases such as ClockWork and eClass
- Ability to triage and appropriately refer students who are in distress
- Knowledge of U of A policies, processes, faculties, and services, including the Code of Student of Behaviour, HIAR, FOIP, and the Office of the Dean of Students
