**What You Will Do**
- Supervise procurement, fleet and logistics team in the province of British Columbia.
- Approve purchase orders.
- Oversee the coordination and planning of the equipment assets in BC to ensure the best utilization rates.
- Manage the maintenance of equipment in BC and the preventive maintenance program in full compliance with the laws governing transportation.
- Analyze the equipment according to its condition, maintenance costs and requirements.
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
- Collaborate with procurement specialists to optimize corporate agreements.
- Work with the managers of each logistics function to align objectives.
- Group product purchases to maximize leverage and/or create annual agreements.
- Assign projects and responsibilities to each coordinator.
- Perform purchasing, maintenance or other logistics duties where required.
- Continue to implement the fleet-to-supply business model.
- Evaluate the quality of the logistics service and make recommendations to improve its performance.
- Make regular visits to job sites to ensure a good relationship and validate that the service meets their needs.
- Promote a health and safety culture and be proactive in health and safety practices.
- Validate performance indicators with customer service.
- Manage and plan for logistics or transportation issues.
- Keeping track of the number of goods as well as stock levels, delivery times and transportation costs.
- Maintaining reports and records of inventory.
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
**This role could be for you if you have**
- Hold a university or college degree or diploma in supply chain management or possess relevant industry experience.
- 10 years' or more experience in inventory, supply and fleet management.
- Solid experience in team management and change management.
- Ability to analyze data from ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Master best practices in fleet management.
- Autonomy and ability to handle emergencies.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment to deliver both regional and corporate results.
