**The Opportunity**

As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of dynamic training programs for clinical, technical, professional, and administrative staff. You will be an expert presenter and facilitator, adept at tailoring your teaching methods to diverse audiences and learning needs. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth while managing our learning management system (LMS).

**What You’ll Do**
- **Deliver Engaging Training**: Facilitate impactful sessions tailored to suit diverse roles and learning preferences.
- **Develop Learning Strategies**: Collaborate with leadership to create training plans aligned with our mission and goals.
- **Design Tailored Content**: Develop e-learning modules, job aids, and in-person/virtual training sessions.
- **Facilitate Onboarding**: Welcome and integrate new hires through effective onboarding programs.
- **Support Skill Development**: Train and coach employees on clinical, technical, leadership, and professional skills.
- **Evaluate and Refine Programs**: Measure the impact of training initiatives and continuously improve outcomes.
- **Leverage Technology**: Manage the LMS and incorporate innovative tools for an enhanced learning experience.

**What You’ll Bring**

**Required**:

- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
- A degree in Business, Psychology, Adult Education, or a related field.
- Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery.
- Experience with clinical, technical, and professional staff, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Proficiency in LMS and e-learning tools.

**Preferred**:

- Certifications such as CPTD, APTD, CPLP, CLDP, or CTDP.
- Ontario CLRI Specialized Educator Certificate in LTC.
- Familiarity with tools like MBTI, DiSC, or EQ-i 2.0.
- Experience in healthcare or long-term care settings, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
