**About Our Opportunity**:
The Corporate Learning Centre is a dynamic place where employees from across government come together to engage, learn and develop. You will be doing interesting work in a fast-paced environment with a team of motivated and energetic professionals. Under the guidance of the Corporate Learning Specialist, the Corporate Learning Assistant provides administrative support for the optimal functioning of corporate learning activities which are delivered through a variety of platforms: virtual, online and classroom related training activities. You will be the first point of contact for the Learning Centre, responding to diverse inquiries related to learning and development activities and triaging and problem solving as required. You will perform a wide range of administrative duties that may include supporting the creation and promotion of learning activities, preparing classrooms for in-person learning, distribution and implementation of assessments, data entry and generating reports from the learning management system and supporting Organizational Development Consultants with a variety of training related tasks.

**Primary Accountabilities**:
Being highly organized and responsive to client and team needs, you will assist in the coordination and scheduling of both virtual and in-person learning events, training sessions, and meetings. This includes preparing course outlines, agendas and training materials, corresponding frequently with facilitators, and ensuring manuals and training materials are current and accurate.

As an effective and confident user of technology, you are eager to learn and embrace new software and systems. You are highly proficient in using technology and collaborative tools such as MS Teams and Zoom to support online learning and team-based projects.

You are also able to effectively use software such as Select Surveys, MS Forms and other tools to assist in the creation of on-line surveys to support consultations, program evaluations, marketing communications and other training related processes.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
This may be the right opportunity for you if you have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or 2-3 years of related work experience.

You possess a positive and professional attitude with the ability to work independently and as a member of a high-energy, results focused team. You are exceptionally detail oriented with the proven ability to handle numerous tasks. You have an ability to deal with a variety of different people in a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment, communicating with tact and discretion in a clear, concise manner. You have critical thinking skills and are comfortable working with confidential/sensitive matters.

Competencies required at this level of work are: Analytical Thinking, Adaptability and Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Client Orientation, Effective Interactive Communication, Initiative, and Intercultural and Diversity Proficiency.

We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.
