**Corporate Communications and Human Resources Specialist**

**The opportunity**:
The Communications and Human Resources Specialist will support the team responsible for these functions at Chorus Aviation Inc. The team supports the Chorus corporate group and works closely with the Chorus subsidiaries, providing functional expertise.

Chorus offers a hybrid working environment, with the office location at the Chorus corporate offices in Dartmouth NS. The position reports to the Vice President Corporate Human Resources and Communications.

**A snapshot of what you will be involved with**:

- Provide assistance in all areas of Communications and Human Resources.
- Support production of communication materials including reports, graphics, podcasts, and video content using Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Support and coordinate processes related to production and content creation for Chorus’ traditional, social and multi-media platforms.
- Assist in developing content for Chorus' internal communications, website, intranet, and subsidiary brands as required.
- Ensure corporate communications meet or exceed accessible communications guidelines.
- Support various teams in the production of Chorus' internal diversity newsletter, Seen and Heard.
- Participate in and support recruitment, selection and onboarding process for the corporate office.
- Provide first level assistance with questions related to employee policies and benefit programs.
- Assist with DEI and Accessibility initiatives, including Chorus Contributes, the community impact program.
- Support the team by providing administrative assistance, including managing Ariba (procurement) for the department, team policy compliance, document control and coordinating translation services.
- Maintain the departmental files and record keeping system
- Build and maintain co-operative relationships with all subsidiaries within Chorus.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**What will help you succeed?**
- The role requires a minimum of two to three years of experience in the communications or human resources field, or in office administration and a diploma in related studies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Jungle Mail and photography is an asset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or with mínimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of initiative.
- A natural curiosity with a strong willingness to learn and try new things.

**Salary and Benefits**

**Job type**: This is a full-time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week.
