POSITION PROFILE
As a Clinical Manager (RN) at Access Healthcare Services you will oversee the delivery of client care for our community Nursing program. The Clinical Manager will manage client, employee and operational metrics and expectations to ensure team performance and the delivery of high-quality care. The Clinical Manager will have strong clinical, customer service and technical skills and the ability to complete comprehensive client assessments for the development of client centered care plans. Additionally, as the Clinical Manager you will support the nursing and operations team and provide education to our field staff drawing from the practical experience you bring from previous leadership roles.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES
- Development, implementation, education, and evaluation of registered nurses and registered practical nurses.
- Ensures standards in documentation and practice are followed.
- Participates in the recruitment and orientation of nursing staff.
- Supervises and provides support to nursing team members.
- Conducts performance management of staff including annual and probationary performance reviews.
- Develops and participates in organizational quality improvement plans.
- Conducts in-home community client assessments and/or education as required.
- Participates and/or supports care plan development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Tracks and follows up on non-compliance and/or practice concerns.
- Conducts daily, weekly, monthly audits, tracking and follow up as required.
- Participates and contributes to policy review, development, and best practice guidelines.
- Provide guidance to the team members for decision-making regarding nursing, staff/client rights, risk management, ethics, and services.
- Undertakes risk management and analysis including completion of incident reports and required follow up.
- Acts in the capacity of Program Manager, Nursing Services when required.
- Support other AHS Programs as needed.
- Participates in the clinical resource nurse and management rotations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager or Director

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Experience in community or home care service provision desirable
- Current level “C” CPR certification or ability to obtain.
- Bilingual in French and English preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership skills, ability to mentor staff and facilitate program and staff development.
- Commitment to client-centered care and evidence-based nursing practice.
- Well-developed skills in diplomacy, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Strong knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have a reliable vehicle and willing to travel.
