**MAINTENANCE Technician**
**10:00 am to 6:00 pm**

As a key part of our Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for supporting and working with our maintenance group in our facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for inputting and operating our preventative maintenance system, creating and managing a maintenance parts inventory system (including purchasing parts and supplies), and performing hands on maintenance work as part of the team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Complete and assist with hands on maintenance work on the facilities and equipment during the day as required and directed.
- Be willing to work on any type of repair or maintenance task as required.
- Work cooperatively within the maintenance team, and with production and operations teams to effectively and efficiently coordinate and perform preventative, regular, and special/project maintenance items.
- Input, monitor, and manage preventative maintenance data and program for facilities equipment.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping within the maintenance shop and related equipment areas within the facility.
**Qualifications - You ARE / HAVE**:
- Some formal Millwright or Power Engineering training or equivalent relevant experience.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to problem solve.
- Electrical experience would be an asset.
- Possess a high level of motivation and initiative.
- Available to work flexible hours - with current expectations of a late day shift.
- Flexible and able to work extra hours as needed.
- Team player who works well in cooperative environment.
- Proficiency in PC use, including MS office products.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of a Preventative Maintenance Program, including related software.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
