**DEWATERING PUMP / HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN**

ICD is currently seeking a Journeyperson/ Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician to support their growing needs. This position is in Fort McMurray region with an attractive fourteen (14) day rotation, working twelve (12) hour days. ICD provides a fly in fly out flight allowance and provides accommodations.

**Some duties required for this position include, but are not limited to**:

- Inspecting, diagnosing, and performing major and minor repair work on engines, pumps, compressors, controls, valves, and other related equipment.
- Inspecting, adjusting, and replacing necessary equipment, units, and related parts in the performance of repair and maintenance work.
- Providing emergency field assistance to disabled equipment as needed and appropriate.
- Rotate through shop and field assignments as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and equipment deficiencies.
- Participate in the development of, and the ability to follow maintenance procedures and instructions.
- Participate in safety programs and adhere to site safety standards.
- Safely operate company provided equipment.
- Troubleshooting of engine, hydraulic, electrical

**Qualifications**:

- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Millwright.
- A Valid Driver's License with clean drivers abstract.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups.
- Mining experience an asset.
- Diesel engines experience an asset.

Licence/Certification:

- Red Seal Truck and Coach (preferred)
- 310T (preferred)
- Journeyperson HET (preferred)
- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
