The Regional Administrative Manager will help with the management of 10 branches, over 160 people across Alberta and the Okanagan. This position reports to the Vice President and Regional Manager at National Bank Financial - Wealth Management.

Your role:

- Assign and supervise daily operational and administrative tasks
- Standardize work processes within the region
- Establish performance objectives and evaluate the performance of the sales assistants and administrative staff and provide feedback or corrective action as appropriate
- Act as a resource person to solve operating and relational problems for the region
- You will have responsibility for maintaining and strengthening the relationships with investment associates and Branch Administrators (BAs) by fostering an open and inclusive environment along with an Advisor focused culture
- Build and maintain an efficient operational and administrative structure in keeping with internal rules
- Ensure administrative policies and procedures as well as all head office communications are understood and followed

Competencies required:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field and six years' relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and four years' relevant experience
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) completed OR to be completed following hiring
- Industry knowledge
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong relationship manager with leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to create workable solutions to complex issues
- Client centric
- Superior oral and written communication skills. Able to mediate and facilitate large groups and communicate effectively with internal and external partners
- Bilingualism both spoken and written (English and French) an asset
