**Position Summary**:
In the position of Events Manager you will be responsible for the “behind the scenes” daily operations of scheduled events; including but not limited to planning, organizing and scheduling assets, POS and vendors as needed. Attend events full cycle ‐‐ from set up to tear down, responsible for the successful activation of the event on the ground.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Plan events with appropriate marketing staff
- Staff planning with appropriate employees and/or vendors for all on‐site event staff
- Event budget management
- Ensure branding standards are met
- Event asset inventory control and maintenance
- Communication of event plan to all relevant parties
- On the ground event set up, live event management and tear down
- Event related invoice processing
- Event recaps ‐‐photos, strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT), sampling and event overview
- Development and implementation of annual and/or individual event marketing plans

**Position Requirements**:

- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of ‐‐ Hospitality Management, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in event production, management, and activation
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 3‐5 years of experience in inventory systems
- Computer Skills Desired: Microsoft Office Programs‐ Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Ability to multitask in fast‐paced environments

**Base Pay Range : $68,625 CAD - $91,500 CAD (+)
