As the Lease Administrator, you will be responsible for the coordination and process management of contractual agreements related to Recreation and Social Programs. This includes leases, licenses of Occupation, Operating Agreements, Amenity Agreements, Vendor Agreements, Letter Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, Rights Agreements, Naming Agreements, Sponsorship Agreements and Funding Agreements. In this position, you will liaise between the parties of contractual agreements to resolve any issues related to the terms and interpretation of the contractual agreements. Primary duties include:
- Analyze lease agreements and revenues, expenses associated with lease space.
- Liaise with internal partners to support the development and/or updates of documents related to lease agreements.
- Forecast and plan for expired contractual agreements and manage timelines as required.
- Support the Civic Partnership Consultant with oversight of sponsorship contracts.
- Provide oversight regarding workflow, potential risks impacting facilities/inventory and qualification competence.
- Review agreement requests to explore the appropriate authority and governance to ensure the business unit's interests and requirements are met.
- Report to leadership on any risks, gaps, deficiencies workload programs of the agreement portfolio.
- Develop and implement standard operation procedures to address scope of work related to the agreement portfolio.
- Issue invoices and reconcile financial data related to agreement requirements.
**Qualifications**
- A completed 2 year diploma in Business related field and at least 5 years of experience in a related filed. OR
- A degree and at least 3 years of experience in a related filed.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.
- Success in this position requires strategic thinking, well developed communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach to problem solving, strong organization and planning skills, and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
