***ORGANIZATION PROFILE**:
The Integrated Cadastral Information Society (ICI Society) is a leader in the sharing of geospatial information, driving collaboration, integration, adoption and the use of spatial data for the socio
- economic benefit of British Columbia.

ICI Society was incorporated in May 2001 and registered under the BC Societies Act as a non-profit organization, focused on building collaboration and cooperation between local governments, provincial government and major utility companies in British Columbia. The purpose of the Society upon incorporation was to share data from multiple agencies so that members can contribute and consume spatial data from one source. Membership expanded to include First Nations and other organizations that benefit from sharing an integration of cadastral data. Members submit land parcel (cadastral), infrastructure and address data for sharing to the ICI Society, and this contributed data is then integrated into a feature class, multilayer geospatial fabric, which is accessible back to members.

The ICI Society works closely with its members to provide valuable geospatial information and mapping services. New initiatives are established by the Board of Directors who represent the needs of the Society’s community. The Board is comprised of representatives who come from provincial and local governments, provincial and utility member segments and First Nations. The Society works on new initiatives which emphasize and support the value of the ICI Society membership.

The Society has developed its own highly customized Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) suite of tools known as GeoShare, to facilitate the acquisition and distribution of member data.

**POSITION PURPOSE**:
The Stakeholder Engagement/Communications Coordinator leads communications and stakeholder engagement, including the provision of high quality and responsive information for members and develops approaches to engagement, collaboration, and innovation that create improved value for the Society and its members.

The Stakeholder Engagement/Communications Coordinator reports directly to the ICI Society Director of Operations.

The Stakeholder Engagement/Communications Coordinator actively engages with all member segments including Local Government, Utilities, First Nations, Provincial Ministries and Associates in supporting the Society’s vision:

- “To inform better decision-making by collecting and sharing geospatial data and leveraging relationships for the benefit of our members within British Columbia.”_

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**:
The key responsibilities associated with the Stakeholder Engagement/Communications Coordinator position include, but are not limited to:
**Marketing, Communication & Facilitation**
- Lead the development and execution of an overall ICI Society communication strategy.
- Lead communications efforts and stakeholder engagement to promote and inform members of current projects and initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ICI Society marketing materials including website content, news releases, newsletters, presentations, and other promotional materials.
- Establish effective relationships and collaborate with ICI Society members and other stakeholders to achieve Society objectives.
- Lead the support of members with scheduled, ongoing, and documented liaison.
- Facilitate ICI Society workshops, Virtual Cafes, and one-on-one support.
- Lead the ICI Society team in the planning, coordination, preparation, and execution of various ICI Society events, including webinars, workshops, and conferences.
- Attend, participate in, and present at conferences, seminars, and other external events to engage with members, increase ICI Society’s visibility, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
- Represent ICI Society in various meetings, presentations, and other public engagement activities with members and external agencies.

**Strategic Planning**
- Report to the Board of Directors and Committees on areas of responsibility under the direction of the Director of Operations.
- Participate on various Board Committees to represent ICI Society Operations, including the Communications Committee, Membership Committee, and First Nations Working Group.
- Provide input, recommendations, and insight into Strategic Planning activities.
- Provide analysis of issues, opportunities and recommend solutions to help meet Society goals and expand the reach of the organization.
- Identify opportunities for improved information sharing and collaboration among members, including process improvements that directly benefit members.
