**Position Description**:
**Program Manager, ECHO Ontario: Epilepsy**

Reporting to the Director of the Learning Institute, as Program Manager you will act as the lead for the ECHO Ontario: Epilepsy program. The Program Manager leads the team to deliver the ECHO Ontario: Epilepsy program - ensuring excellence in program delivery, proposing improvements and innovations to the program, and meeting the programmatic needs of the health provider community of practice (both those that deliver and participate in the program).

**Program Description**

ECHO® Ontario Epilepsy is a technology-enabled, collaborative, continuing professional development (CPD) accredited learning program that partners community health care providers and epilepsy specialists to enhance care for children, adolescents and adults. It primarily leverages synchronous digital learning, coupled with online resources and in-person learning opportunities in a tele-mentorship model to support providers to expand their knowledge base and scope of practice in the diagnosis and co-management of seizure disorders.

**Here’s What You’ll Get to Do**
- Oversee and support the work of the team in delivering the program
- Ensuring compliance with the contract with the funder (Ministry of Health), including meeting contract obligations, reviewing and submitting quarterly and annual reports and answering requests from MOH as needed
- Liaise with all other ECHO Ontario programs, the ECHO Institute (University of New Mexico) and any other stakeholders to exchange knowledge and glean best practices
- Manage budget and report on expenditure status to Director and ECHO Ontario: Epilepsy Executive Committee
- Engage various stakeholder audiences, report to and receive input on program delivery, including the Advisory Committee, the Executive Committee, the Education Committee and other audiences as identified during program delivery
- Respond to needs for delivery improvement and identify opportunities for program delivery innovation
- Lead all marketing activities and initiatives to promote the program and recruit participants
- Plan and execute engagement and capacity building initiatives targeted at communities underserved by neurology in Ontario (typically northern, rural and remote communities)

**Here’s What You’ll Need**

**Essential Requirements**
- Post-graduate degree relevant to the position (e.g., health administration, public health, education)
- Project management experience within healthcare or a similar setting
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivation, curiosity to learn, an inclination towards continuous improvement
- The ability to propose creative and actionable solutions to meet program needs
- Experience organizing community engagement and/or capacity building initiatives
- Demonstrated excellence in organizing and prioritizing workflow
- Experience developing and managing complex budgets

**Assets**
- Project Management Professional designation
- Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement

**Employment Type**
- 35-hour work week
- Full-time, 1-year contract. Includes access to health & dental benefits, paid vacation & sick days.
- Hybrid (Onsite and Remote) Work Model - necessary technology provided for remote work
